BUSTED!!! Chrysler Employees Caught Getting Drunk And High During Their Lunch Breaks

We're all rooting for the auto industry to come back stronger than ever. It affects every one of us here in metro Detroit and across the country because it's so important to our economy.

Fox 2's Rob Wolchek got a tip about what some guys are doing at Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit. This is the same plant that President Barack Obama visited back in July and talked about the significance of manufacturing in America.

The same place where the President remarked on the tax-payer generated government loan saying "I believed that if each of us were willing to work and sacrifice in the short term -- workers, management, creditors, shareholders, retirees, communities -- it could mark a new beginning for a great American industry. And if we could summon that sense of teamwork and common purpose, we could once again see the best cars in the world designed, engineered, forged, and built right here in Detroit, right here in the Midwest, right here in the United States of America."


Response from Chrysler--- Scott Garberding, Senior Vice President - Manufacturing : I'm very, very disturbed about what I just saw in the video and I want to make it clear that we at Chrysler take it very seriously. For us this behavior is totally unacceptable and will be dealt with swiftly. In fact, we've already identified a few of the people involved in this incident. Each of them has been suspended indefinitely, without pay, pending further investigation. We'll continue to pursue this in fact, until we're done.

What's difficult about this is these few people, who exhibited bad behavior, have painted a bad picture what's an outstanding assembly plant, filled with outstanding committed Chrysler employees at Jefferson North. I want to make it clear that we're proud of our plant, we're very proud of the people at Jefferson North.

Lastly I want to say that when we build a vehicle we go to a lot of detail to make sure that even a few people in a situation like this, in fact cannot effect the quality of the vehicle. We have detail systems in place to make sure that every operation is completed and we do multiple-redundants to ensure quality of the vehicles we make. myfoxdetroit.com

The lead single off the album is "Just A Dream". The radio friendly pop tune was produced by Jim Jonsin, and is getting a strong positive response. When Taylor Swift tweets how much she likes a song, that's a sure sign you probably have a crossover hit.

Lyfe Jennings Sentenced to 3 1/2 Years: Addresses The Court During Sentencing And Breaks Down Crying!

After serving a 10 year stretch in prison, Lyfe Jennings is heading back to lock up for another 3 1/2 years for firing a gun and making other bad decisions during a 2008 fight with his ex-girlfriend.

Via Twitter Jennings wrote:

"This will be my last post, to everyone who gave me a chance I am forever in your debt. I have had a fabulous career because of you...I've lived a hundred lives in these 6 yrs so I not only won't, i don't have the right to complain."

According to the complaint against him, Jennings was arrested in October 2008 after kicking in the door of the house where his ex-girlfriend and mother of his two sons, Joy Bounds, was staying, and then firing rounds from a .40-caliber weapon from out in the street. Afterward, he let officers chase him around Smyrna, Ga., for awhile. Then, after crashing his 2005 Corvette, he refused a field sobriety test.

He had already informed fans that his fourth album, I Still Believe, would be his last. Whether he meant it or not, the current prison sentence handed down means another one won't be coming for awhile.

"I would like to think that I've changed lives by changing my own, tho I can't be sure," Jennings concluded. "But one thing I am sure of is God gives and takes away in measure. He is fair, just and forever. Amen from aman... Smile, its contageous"

Super producer Swizz Beats should know better than anyone that it's hard to duplicate a classic song, having already made so many himself.

But Swizzy is going to attempt bring back the magic people felt when they first heard Eminem's "Stan" on a new record he's recorded with Lil Wayne titled "Anne".

The beat for the track was originally produced for Eminem's 'Relapse' album as "Stan 2", but Slim wanted to head in a different direction.

So Swizz is using the beat for his upcoming 'Haute Living' album.

"There was a lot of controversy over this before," Swizz said "The Eminem album before ['Recovery'], 'Relapse,' I submitted a beat to him called 'Stan 2.' When I was doing an interview and they said, 'What you working on?' [Em] was amongst the people in the lineup I submitted things for. I said, 'I did a track for Eminem called 'Stan 2.' So it got out of hand in the media. He didn't want to do 'Stan 2.' But what I have on my album is a song called 'Anne' with Wayne, which is crazy. The way that Wayne just...it's just ridiculous. He tells Anne, he's sorry for having a Stan"

BREAKING NEWS: Lyfe Jennings Sentenced to Three and Half Years in Prison

R&B singer Life Jennings was sentenced to three and a half years behind bars today (Sept 22) in an Atlantacourt for a 2008 indictment.

“This will be my last post” Jennings wrote yesterday on his Twitter. “To everyone who gave me a chance I am forever in your debt. I have had a fabulous career because of you. All I can say in parting is that I have been honest with [ya\'ll]. I didn’t sugarcoat a word didn’t hold back a single [syllable] of my life from [ya\'ll]. I’ve lived a hundred lives in these 6 yrs so I not only won’t,I don’t have the right to complain. I would like to think that I’ve changed lives by changing my own, tho[ugh] I can’t be sure. But one thing I am sure of is God gives and takes away in measure. He is fair, just and forever. Amen from a man… Smile, its contageous:)”

In October 2008, the “Statistics” singer got into a heated confrontation with ex-girlfriend and mother of his children Joy Pound. Jennings reportedly kicked in the door of a house in Smyrna, Georgia, belonging to Jeff Kendrick, then fired rounds from a .40 caliber glock in the street according to police.

Jennings then fled the scene in his 2005 Corvette and according to his warrant allegedly refused to stop for officers when given audible and visual signs to do so. Driving in excess of 70 miles per hour, Jennings was eventually stopped and refused to take a sobriety test.

Booked at Cobb County Jail, the singer was charged with DUI test refusal, criminal trespassing, discharging a weapon near a street, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and fleeing or attempting to elude a police offer.

After being freed on $50,000 bond, Jennings released his fourth studio project 'I Still Believe,' August 31, 2010, the follow-up to his 2008's 'Lyfe Change.' The album is said to be his final offering.

The 13-disc track is what Lyfe considers a reflection of his “greatness.” Despite the personal and public trials in his life, Lyfe Jennings still believes in this love. “I keep a lot going on. It’s tragic; I think I have a horribly charmed life. But I think God puts me through stuff and keeps me there so I can talk about it.”

He carries these experiences into the album. “[The album] is about all kinds of relationships,” says Lyfe. “How we try to hold on sometimes for the sake of holding on. But, in reality, no matter how many breakups turn into make-ups, sooner or later we realize that this person is who they are and we need to let go. No grudges, no regrets. Just realization. Just acceptance. Just life.”

Jennings will hit the road in support of his reported final album, 'I Still Believe,' playing in clubs in major markets throughout the nation this fall.

A family member from BET spoke on his behalf as a character witness during sentencing. No word on when he will begin serving the time.

Sparks pranked the Detroit rapper by appearing to have an extra large package. At one point, Clinton raises himself up high out of his chair, forcing Eminem to look away like "wtf?"

Clinton asks if there was a reason he wasn't looking at him.

"I was trying to ignore it, because I was trying to be courteous," Eminem says. "But what the f*ck are you doing?"

At that point, the cat was out of the bag obviously. The two threw a couple more jokes at each other and that was that.

 Position of Power is the 2010 up and coming album by Drop Squad rapper High Defynition. It will be HDs' freshman album, which is scheduled TBA.
The album is scheduled to feature guest appearances from Imfamous, D Bo, Amanda Talevski. Tentative track production will come from Imfamous and HD himself.

IHHM: Is the album done?

High Defynition: It's almost completed, still have a few more tracks to get done. Bout 4 or 5 more.

IHHM: With all the tracks, how do you bump one?

High Defynition: If I feel a track is hotter than another then I would replace it with a track thats not as hot as that track, but sometimes I just may add a track to the track listing.

IHHM: Do you listen to it a lot to get a feel for it or lay the tracks—

High Defynition: Yes! I always listen to the tracks over and over to make sure the feel is right and that I know it is something that needs to impress the audience; plus Imfamous and I are perfectionist, so it has to be right.

IHHM: Talk about being a perfectionist, I don't think a lot of people who aren't fans of hip-hop think of a hip-hop artists as hard workers.

High Defynition: Honestly its harder than people think, its not an easy job; you're constantly in the studio.

IHHM: Does it ever happen that you record something after the deadline and drive yourself crazy because it's really hot?

High Defynition: Yeah, but if it's that hot than sometimes I would just put it for download.

IHHM: Do you feel like you are getting better?

High Defynition: Yeah I do, I constantly stay recording and sometimes I even listen to my old music and just suprised on how much I have improved and I kno by day I am gettting better.

IHHM: With N.W.A., it was Ice Cube who had the most success in the beginning when he left the group but, at the end of the game it was Dr. Dre who had the most success.

High Defynition: Yup. you really never know what can happen in hip hop, one day one person can have the most success and than the next day you may have the most success, so it fluctuates.

IHHM: I heard that 50 Cent and Eminem were your idols.

High Defynition: Well Eminem is a great lyricist and Fifth is a great entrepreneur, so having those specialties would helpout a lot with this business.

IHHM: Who out there has something you wish you had, skill-wise?

High Defynition: Certain people. It's really not a lot out there but a couple examples would be Eminem, 50 Cent, Kanye West, Drake, and Game. Oh and I can't forget about LLoyd Banks.

Aretha Franklin's Son. Eddie Undergoes Emergency Surgery After Being Severely Beaten In Detroit

Aretha Franklin's middle-aged son was undergoing emergency surgery on Tuesday after being severely beaten at a gas station in Detroit on Monday night, according to reports.

Two men and a woman assaulted Eddie Franklin, 52, at a station near Plymouth and Evergreen, the Queen of Soul's spokeswoman tells the Detroit News.

Other details were scarce. The female suspect appeared to be about 19 years old, and one of the men had dreadlocks. All three were African American.

An unidentified person at the station took Franklin to an area hospital and then filed a police report, according to authorities. Word of Franklin's condition was not immediately available.

Aretha Franklin, 68, who had Eddie when she was 16, is one of the most decorated singers of all time, having won 20 Grammy Awards.
